Another bullion van has been attacked on Thursday June 17 at Okyereko on the Winneba-Accra road.

The van with registration number GN 6956-17 was targeted by some armed men whose identities are unknown.
Reports indicates six armed men ambushed the van. Some of the men spread leaves on the road and were signifying the driver of the bullion to slow down as though there was an accident ahead.
The rest of the men who were hiding in the bush began to shoot at the passenger side window of the van where the police man was seated.
After failing to execute their mission, they went back into the bush and escaped.
Fortunately all the passengers on board the car were able to escape unhurt.
