Benedicta Abena Pokua, wife of the driver of CEO of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Dr. KK Sarpong’s driver was shot dead on Saturday evening was shot dead by unknown gun men while driving at the forecourt of Joefel Restaurant at Dichemso in Kumasi.
According to the husband of the deceased woman, Nana Prempeh who spoke with Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin he said; ”while on our way from Joefel Restaurant, my wife was driving my white Range Rover”.
“She was driving ahead of me while I was in a different car. All what I saw was someone had rushed her and opened gun fire at her. They shot multiple times and sped off.”
Nana Prempeh in a crying voice noted that he was the target of the operation.
Meanwhile police have began a probe into the matter to arrest the assailants.
