Two Teenagers And Apusuapani Arrested For Digging Up Mortal Remains of A Pregnant Woman

Two teenagers and Apusuapani identified as Yaw Kofi have been arrested for allegedly digging up the remains of a pregnant woman who has been buried in the cemetery.

Speaking to Angel news, assembly man of Mponsu electoral area in Bono Region, Hon. Ahmed Fafana narrated that he was touring his area trying to embark on some developmental project in the area.

He noted that the project lead he and his committee chairman to the cemetery and they found out the mortal remains of a pregnant woman wasn’t in her grave.

According to him he reported to the chiefs of the land and the case was reported to the police but the chiefs also poured libation and performed some rites in a bid to aid in the arrest of the perpetrators.

He said they had a report from Kumasi police divisional police command indicating that two people have been arrested for having a dead body in their possession which they claim they dug it from Mpoasu. But the leader of the gang is from Adensu who is called teacher Andrews but popularly called Kofi Yaw.

The leader has also been arrested in addition to the young boys.
