A man identified as Gideon Addai has been beaten by residents after he was caught robbing a woman at gun point.
He was said to have gone for the operation with his gang but unfortunately for him he was caught while the remaining suspects flee away.
Residents who heard the woman screaming went to her rescue, catching Gideon in the process. He was then dealt with but they informed Assin Fosu police command about it to prevent beating him to death,
According to residents they do not have peace of mind as robbers keep attacking them at every least opportunity. This they said is making them leave in fear lately.
Divisional crime officer, Daniel Darko confirmed they they have received so many reports regarding criminal cases about the area. They have deployed some security personnel to the area in other to minimize the rising crime in the area.
