My Parents Made Sure We Had Whatever We Needed When Growing Up- King Promise Reveals

Gregory Bortey Newman, who goes by the stage name King Promise is a Ghanaian highlife and afrobeats singer-songwriter. He is a signee of Legacy Life Entertainment record Label and is known for several songs like Oh yeah, Selfish, Tokyo among others.

The sensational vocalist has recalled the roles his beloved parents played in his upbringing.

King Promise who was speaking in an interview chanced on by Pinaxnews.com boldly disclosed that his parents provided whatever they needed. The only thing they needed to to on their part was to be respectful towards people.

A few of the things he said reads;

” Growing up was normal. I grew up in an average Ghanaian family home. I schooled a lot and grew up in Nungua. Basically, my parents always mage sure that whatever we needed was provided for. What was necessary was for us to learn, be responsible and do the responsibilities assigned to us”, he said in an interview on Kastle FM hosted by Amansan Krakye.
