George Ayisi-Boateng is a Ghanaian diplomat and a member of the New Patriotic Party of Ghana. He also doubles as Ghana’s previous High Commissioner to South Africa.
In the wake of putting a stop to the galamsey activities going on in the country, His Excellency George Ayisi-Boateng has urged government to shoot to kill unlawful miners (galamseyers) as an approach to end it in the country.
As indicated by the diplomat, the best way to win the battle is by shooting to kill those found on unlawful mining destinations.
He added that, these unlawful galamseyer who think they need cash more than our dads who utilized their blood to ensure these regular assets are utilizing all foul way to obliterate the land and water bodies.
These are a few of his words; ”They should shoot to kill the recalcitrant ones who have defied the government’s order and constantly engaging in illegal mining.
These illegal mines who think they need money more that our fathers who used their blood to protect these natural resources are suing all foul means to destroy the land and water bodies”.
