Kasoa a suburb of Central region of Ghana at exactly Old barrier gets flooded after a heavy downpour earlier on Friday 4th June 2021.
According to Obed Somoah, Angel FM correspondent, the entire road including the pavement for pedestrians of Old barrier leading to STC has been flooded up making plying the road much difficult.
He urged all those coming from Accra to return because all vehicles coming from Kasoa are now using the road of vehicles going to Kasoa hence creating so much traffic on the road.
In Ghana roads and communities get flooded due to the absence of bigger drainage systems in the country. A number of people have lost their lives over time in this menace.
6 years ago a lot of people perished at circle due to this same flooding saga and till now the situation still remains the same.
