Latest report gathered by our outfit indicates that the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) will, in a couple of weeks, embark on an activity to clasp down on vehicles having embellished number plates.
The report also stated that the activity will be done in conjunction with the the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service.
As per an official statement released by the executives of DVLA, its notification has been attracted to the blatant dismissal to arrangements in the Road Traffic Regulation, 2012 (LI 2180) by quite a number of vehicle owners.
